Terraforming Mars Rules<\/a> \u2212\u00a0How to Play and Win<\/div>\nAs we mentioned above, there are project tags that feature a new type of tag called the \u201cwild tag\u201d. This tag won\u2019t trigger any effects once it\u2019s put into play or count for any scoring at the end of the game. But when you perform an action, the wild tag can be a tag of the player\u2019s choice. This can include things like claiming milestones or claiming awards.<\/p>\n
When playing solo, you now only have 12 generations to win. Additionally, there\u2019s a new solo variant where instead of trying to fulfill all the global parameters (oxygen levels, ocean levels, and temperature), you\u2019re trying to get to a terraform level of \u201c63\u201d before the game closes. There\u2019s also a new Standard Project, which costs 16 megacredits to raise your TR (terraforming rating) by 1.<\/p>\n
Aside from everything else mentioned above, all other rules from the base game still apply to Prelude.<\/p>\n
